A fanart of my two favorite characters from “Wings of Fire”.
I really devoured the story about Darkstalker. I'm looking forward to a graphic novel being published soon.
(even if it will surely take ages before it appears in German...)

A truly exceptional interpretation on both these characters from “Wings of Fire”. Darkstalker and Moonwatcher face to face in this cool fanart. I hope a graphic novel will be published in German asap too, so you can enjoy devouring it like the story about Darkstalker. 😉👍
The characters here are both for the second book series (plus the solo book Darkstalker mentioned by Ruki, focusing this on this character backstory) There is a third one as well.
Personally i loved all the series, even if i felt that there was a bit an over-use of some things (Magic) in the second series. A somewhat sad point it's that the constant change of Point-of-View leave in my opinion some missed opportunities

Dragonslayer? I have yet to read it even if I noticed the connection with later books of the second continent. Personally I didn't like the "uncontrolled omnipotent magic" rule of the second series that was rightfully fixed in a way.
And you are right in a fan way, think that even in the first series there are guards holding spears XD I mean... Despite having some quite natural fighting skills haha.
But it's fun in a way, as the whole school idea

Love Darkstalker's story^^ Not so much him himself, he was kind of a brat xD I enjoyed Moon in her book and Winter's Turning, but starting Escaping Peril she slowly started to annoy me a bit ^^; (especially with how she took Darkstalker's word that he didn't do anything to Winter even though he obviously had)
PS: Been a while since I've seen you make any Warriors fanart so dunno if you still read them or not, but given this fanart I thought you might find it hilarious that in the upcoming arc, one of the POVs is a she-cat named Moonpaw... and she's hearing a voice in her head xD

Oh yeah, I agree^^ I didn't mean that to me they weren't excellently written characters, just that some aspects of their personalities were annoying to me "personally" (so its kinda that I treat them as if they were real life people I suppose ^^;).
Darkstalker always struck me as a sort of spoiled kid (and then when his Legends book came out it turned out he was like 6 so it made sense xD) with how he would basically "cheat" with his magic to make things easier for himself. I like villains who put in the work to get their goal (for example, Scarlet or Blister).
That being said, Darkstalker IS excellently written as this kind of character, kid basically, with godly powers. And I find his relationship with Clearsight one of the most beautiful (and depressing) storylines in the series^^
(Also I'm annoyed that he gets a happy ending, and Winter - my favorite character of the arc - doesn't, as the only main character so far at that! ;p)

Well, I suppose that's a fair point. But you know, the older a person gets, the more appealing an idea of a second childhood becomes ^^; I hope he becomes a POV character in the future, maybe even in the upcoming arc, it would be so interesting^^ Also I know that Moon's vision said he would get married with a blacksmith's daughter, but I think it would be hilarious if he ended up with a HiveWing, maybe even Bumblebee, seeing how they are descendants of Clearsight xD
Oh yeah, Dangerous Gift might be my favorite book in the 3rd arc because of how they fixed most of Winter's "bad ending", despite how "misplaced" this book seems after 3 books taking place in Pantala^^ I just hope that Winter's soul mate will be a POV character, so we can be sure she's worthy of him xD With dragons now knowing that humans are intelligent I hope it means Winter will play a bigger part in the next arc, especially since one of the few unresolved storylines (which I think there are only two?) is the leader of that human city wanting to capture Wren, from the end of Dragonslayer. Dunno if that would be continued in the 4th arc or would b left for another Legends book, but I could see him capturing Wren and then humans and dragons launching a rescue operation together^^
