You'd just finished up a satisfying lunch in the diner when, upon returning to your truck, you discovered that you'd gained an unexpected passenger. It's funny how she didn't even ask which way you were headed, but you supposed that if it didn't matter to her, it shouldn't matter to you. Some company for the long drive would be welcome either way.

Ordinarily, I'm against picking up hitchhikers, but I'd give Princess a ride any day! Not that she's likely to give me a choice anyway. A little companionship on the road can be nice, sometimes, and my gosh if she doesn't look fantastic here, too! It's cute that she's got her head stuck out of the window, too, just like she's an innocent doggo enjoying the ride.
