Euro’s preferred beverage would still be a glass of wine. But canned wine? Dear god no. For a canned beverage, beer isn’t really his cup of tea either. Coffee? Maybe a local canned coffee but he doesn’t have a preferred brand. A local soda, perhaps, but not something that one can easily find in North America. Just something that is representative of the local culture that is preferably nonalcoholic.
A bit of backstory: So the first time I was in Spain, I went to a small town called Alicante which is in the southeast, and one thing to know about Spain is that the cuisine there contains lots of salty items. I was VERY thirsty, wanted something to drink, kept seeing this beverage in the grocery stores and was curious as to what it was, tried it, and fell in love with the flavor profile. It’s apparently Coca Cola’s answer to Pocari Sweat in East Asia, and was the official drink of multiple Olympic games. Just trying to get it in North America is a pain since the local stores where I live don't carry it, and I would prefer to get this over Pocari Sweat because of nostalgic reasons and just brand preference. Oh, and you can keep your Gatorade or Powerade as acceptable substitutes, thanks. I also have a sneaky suspicion that they actually manufacture the drink in a way to get you to consume more, refreshing as it is, as it only does a little bit in quenching your thirst.
