Alright, had this guy sitting in my files for a week.
Qin Si Huang, first Emperor of China. Originally born as Zhao Zheng of the state of Qin, Zheng would become king in 6 July 247 BC and would conquer the rest of the waring states and unify China by 221 BC. Qin Si Huang would give himself the new title of Emperor (or Huángdì).
Obsessed with his mortality, Qin would send doctors, scientists, philosophers and even poets to find the secret of immortality, however this was believed to have caused his downfall, as evidence suggests he most likely consumed high amounts of mercury, which is of course very poisonous.
However he obviously wouldn't go out without a bang, and so designed his famous mausoleum that holds the equally famous Terracotta Soldiers.
Also before your mild curiosity sends you on a wild goose chase across the internet, that headdress thingy he's wearing is called a mianguan
