This is the cover photo of my first Werewolf novel.
The source photo was taken at Yamnuska Wolfdog Sanctuary, in Alberta, Canada.
It was taken with a Nikon D500 with a Nikkor 200-500mm f/5.6E lens.
Handheld with VR on.
400mm, 1/200s, f/8, ISO 100.
There was some post-production to remove a dark patch from behind the head for the background, but the rest wasn't touched beyond the basic adjustments.
