In the hyena’s dream, he was a giant monster trapped by the little villagers who set out to defeat him. To him they all look so plump, but the strange thing is their battle plan. To climb his girth, enter his mouth, and fight from within. With every warrior that enters his mouth, they fall to his stomach and he fattens up a bit. And like lemmings, they continue the same plan, never changing; countless blubber warriors just throwing themselves to be eaten. And all the hyena could do is just sit and be fed, finding some comfort of being filled.

I'm surprised "Thicket" didn't spin in this direction too, to be honest.
