The Eye of Truth
Kechevi is an Apexis, from ancient history before the Breath of Rukhmar exploded. That explosion of arcane and time magic ripped the timeways open and pulled her through - an event that Kechevi does not remember. This explosion is what shattered the Spire of Arak and made the Apexis extinct, leaving only their crystalline knowledge (the Apexis Crystals) for mortals to find. The resulting arakkoa that rose in the place of the Apexis were a shadow of what they used to be, from before the explosion.
Her travel from then to the present timeline infused her with bronze and arcane magic. It permeates her being, which is what drew Razikash to her to begin with. He recommends to her to seek out Nozdormu, who helps her remember what, and who, she is, via the reflection in his eye. He, being the aspect of time, is able to see all things, like fuzzy frames from a film reel. Leaning close to her, he snaps one into focus - and her reflection in his eye is that of her Apexis self.
