A lot of people are surprised when their pet chickens stop laying eggs and still live for many years after, so I'm not surprised Lyra's life on the farm means she knows how farm chickens are treated when they stop laying. I hope Jacket can help her see that she's worth more than just eggs and meat, even if the farmer may not agree.
As for a favorite recipe, I really don't have one. Anything with chicken and/or potatoes is good by me, heh. But I am also planning to order nuggets and fries to have with the weekly D&D stream I'll be watching in a few hours, so I can use nuggies as my answer for today, I suppose.

Iam not a big meat eater anymore, since I realized, that farm animals also have friends, feelings and family. Especially since I rescued a bull from slaugther.
But if I had to choose, we'll, chicken nuggets. I like my meat heavily processed, so I can't tell that it had life once anymore.
