Ever since the opening of Palmer's Portal, the world as we know it has kind of gone to crap. A research team were experimenting, trying to create the first ever wormhole in space. What they did was open up a portal into another dimension, one where magic existed. The entire team disappeared, never to be seen again, and ever since, the portal, unable to be closed, has been leaking out magic. It's undirected and chaotic. No one knows any way to control it or limit its effects.

Frank suffered from constant nightmares. When the magic touched him, the nightmares became real, and literal. Every night, in his dreams, he'd become a mare. A literal nightmare. And every morning a little more of the magic would linger... Over time, the nightmare and the reality started to merge. Frank no longer has nightmare dreams. Now days, the dream never ends...
