While I am switching between fanarts and personal projects, I felt like finishers were being left out and decided to do three of them during the latest personal projects phase. The theme of these finishers was up to my voters on DeviantArt, and they chose…frozen heads with a twist. They seem to like brutal and creative moves. If you crave more, I've got two more coming in the near future.
The premise for these frozen heads finishers was inspired by the style Gun-Fu. If a dragon mimicked this style with their breath weapon, would you call it Breath-Fu?

Also, I haven't drawn an MGA Mageknight in a while. It turned out well, considering how rusty and lacking in confidence I've been lately.

Any number of factors. Could be the need for bragging rights, could be greed fueled by the high value of dragon scales, could be blindly following orders with cutting edge equipment leading to a false sense of security.
