forgot to share this here but last month i made a plush of Murdoc cus i saw some other fanmade gorillaz plushies from pinterest
stands at around nine inches. eyes and tooth made from cheap craft felt, pupils made from anti pill fleece, details drawn with a marker. skin is made from anti pill fleece from walmart, hair is made from plush coral fleece also from walmart (this is the worst fleece ive worked with btw), and the highlight in his hair is blue AP fleece painted with a bit of blue marker. shirt is made from an old sock, pants are from build a bear that are cut and hot glued to fit his size, shoes are made from craft foam.
he also has some weight to the bottom of his body, i used the same sock i made his shirt from and put beads in it. sewed part of it and cut it off, stuffed it into the body and put in a bit of poly fill to give him his signature beer belly.
ever since last year i’ve been getting back into making plushies starting with Felix back in 2024. making Murdoc wasn’t too hard for me except for the fact that his original head looked so ugly and squished that i made a new one. as of now I started working on 2D and i finished his head a couple hours ago, im going to give him hair tomorrow. the pattern i used for 2D’s head is the same one I used for Murdoc’s head except this time it looks a lot better, no noticeably weird looking chin.
now a couple extra things I’d like to mention as if this description wasn’t long already: I took him to the campus and had him propped up where i sit in class and a lot of people liked him, the guy sitting next to me even said that I must have had a lot of patience working on Mudz. I would also like to say that before anyone asks, no, he is not for sale. As much as I would love to do plush commissions, I would have a lot of obstacles in my way—finding the right fleece, packaging, and of course, tarrifs.
