Closest might be a Patterder though of course there's the lack of horns and paw-like feet rather than hooves, along of course with there being considerable differences in internal anatomy particularly the circulatory system, respiratory and reproductive systems so a mammal would be rather strange.
A rather unfriendly welcome though I guess might have been startling with the sudden appearance via portal and at least the lasers do just stun, so hopefully they should be okay after waking up.
