Coronella isn't supposed to wrap herself around other species unless she has legally entered into a fight with them.
But when she's got such a warm, soft wolf against her scales, why shouldn't she affectionately coil herself around him?
And he feels so safe and loved when she puts herself in a circle around him in bed; so naturally a tighter coiling should make him feel even better, right?
This is just a friendly, protective gesture, she is not doing this because it is the closest thing to hooking with him that she ever expect to get.
