In general whenever you have a bug like the backwards long jump or riding on a physics object in hl2. It's because the engine code did not have a check on the floating point or integer value of something. Like how smb64 has no check on the value of mario's speed when jumping backwards, unlike when he's jumping forwards. Meaning that if you do a b.l.j. against an object like stairs, you can build up large amounts of speed. Can't do it just randomly jumping backwards though.

Technically don't need a pallet for it in Source. Bunnyhopping will do the trick and so can strategic mixing of sidestrafing, jumping,, shifting one's aim, and terrain features. Watching someone speedrun HL2 is nuts. Gordon literally just yeets himself through City 17 at Mach Jesus.

Not a lot of updraft to be had in here, so it'd be slower and more effort to fly. Gotta flap and glide, meaning she'd have to go around the trunk either way :p

Fennec's got the zoomies

In all of my timed event races I ever participated in, (some of which were over 25Km) I would start the race out in a pretty decent sprint just to keep from getting bunched up with a lot of other participants, and then set my pace stride about 5 minutes into the run. The initial sprint at the start also helps you get a little more of a stretch in before regulation your heart rate and breathing technique. My best timed race I won though was a 5km race that I completed in 17m 43seconds. :3

...I am reminded that she's been climbing a fuckton of stairs for a while now. Which means she's probably quite versed in stair climbing.

The "stairs" everyone is saying that fen shouldn't dash/run up, looks more like a ramp than a flight of steps (feretta just probally didn't wanna draw stairs again as you need to do each invindural step and diffrent height and what not) so its a ramp that fen is running up on with either 9hrs and 36 on the clock to hit the top or reaching the top gives her that time meaning some madlad/madlady) ran at 4:28 am/pm, either way can't wait to see what fere does

It is a ramp. And the clock is showing the current time of day. Clock in with a card, then read the time you clock out with at the top.
