This is a blow-up from Xerian II, chapter 1, page 6. I was originally going to upload just the pretty Synth panther from panel 3, but I like how Lautrec turned out in the second panel too, so I ended up posting the whole thing.

...but basically, Lautrec is talking about how cyberjags are not designed for swimming. Synths, including the Synth panthers they have started to build on Xerian's homeworld, have air sacs for their pneumatics and cooling systems, and combined with their carbon-based materials, they are relatively buoyant. Lautrec, however, would sink like a rock. He points out that one of the other panthers, S-IXY, did fall into the reservoir and had to walk to a low section of shore like in Highlander.

The Synth-Panther owes a lot to  spacedog500 who drew one previously as a commission for me.
