Summary:

In a society built on tech and towers, bustling cities and close communities, orbital tethers and spacecraft, sometimes a dragon needs their little getaway to breathe.

A half day’s flight outside the borders to the city of Arcadia lies a meadow. Secluded, sheltered, and quiet. A place Nuria frequented during her youth, and a place she still protects. Generations of wildlife have spoken of her presence and unrelenting kindness. Days of play, days of laughter, moments of rage and moments of sorrow, sunny days and pouring rain: The creatures here have seen it all. They know her and, on her approach, flock to her side. Entrusting the dragoness, a natural predator, even with the presence of the newborn: And the dragoness is all the more glad for it.

When Nuria was young, they supported her. Today, she shelters them.
The City. The Meadow. Friends of different kinds in both places.
And within both of them, their own unique sense of "Home".
