Eh did something up for myself in between portfolio work and commissions. Also my new avatar. (Note, if you're seeing the one with the horribly big-suck-the-life-out-of-you lips~ then you need to refresh)
Haven't done any lineart/inking type stuff in a while. Was fun.
Also decided to change up the front part of Mari's hair to better match what I have IRL. Since it is my sona.

Oh? You should share what it is you're painting. :D
I've been wanting to change the process of how colours work together. I'd like to choose my colours more like Loish does. Here is a link to an example of her work and her lovely palette choices.

Hell if I could I'd love to be able to work with colour like you do. ^^

I'm working on a business card design for myself ^_^ I've done cards for a bunch of other folks recently, and I figured it was time...
And the pic you linked is lovely. That really warm magenta-y purple marries nicely with the oranges in the skin tones. I've been trying to read up more on color and light recently. I'm working through Richard Shmid's Alla Prima at the moment, and I've got Gurney's Color and Light sitting on my shelf once I'm done with that. Fun times!
