Cathy, as seems to be the norm lately, became another equine... thing. What even is a Mistmare, anyway? Huh. The Dice of Fate can apparently turn us into creatures straight out of video games? That is kind of worrisome, given some of the things developers have put in them.

I, on the other hand, get a relatively normal transformation thrown my way. But it seems the fae creature behind all these changes hath taken umbrage to my calling her evil. But truly, what doth she expect? Tis not like she is good! Have at thee!

This was another Pick 'Em month for the Fates, and Cathy decided not to break the streak of equine Fates by choosing something non-horsey. When it does finally end - if it ever does - it'll be due to a genuine roll of the dice, and not in one of the ones we get to choose them. Meanwhile, we kind of expected Toaster to put my last form in armor, and were curious to see how that would look. I think we both forgot that my last form was a feral pegasus, because we were thinking of the cow-girl hybrid that was before it. So we were a little surprised to find I had become a (gasp!) human.

The "mistmare" is a creature or mount or something found in the video game "Fields of Mistria." Neither of us have played it, but Somaria, a fellow regular of Toaster's artstreams (https://www.picarto.tv/RunningToaster), does, and has named several creatures after us. Cathy, of course, is the name of one of their horses, and one of the cows is apparently named for me. Cathy's choice of form this month is her way of saying thanks.

Me, I'll just say thanks. And maybe see if there's a place for a cameo in some future pic sometime.
