How about a cup of steaming hot tea, so sweet your tongue will feel hugged. Or maybe a little, fine chocolate treat? Just take a seat and we will see what you enjoy the most. A little frivolity here and there to entertain myself.
Who here has watched "Coraline" as well? That Movie really left a lasting imprint on me. Something about the strange, different side of another world which is more dangerous than it seems.
Seeing the Visage slowly crack as you get behind all the secrets behind the sweetness and joy.
So this piece plays with the idea of "Coraline" and generelly the mix of Sweet and Dangerous. I always liked the Hidden dangers and darkness Mixed with innocent decors and delightful treats.
I even added a little hint to the Coraline-Movie!

This one doesnt have buttons for eyes!
So this is obviously the good one. ^^
And yes i love that movie. ^^
the thin vail of a world that mimics a better version of your real life. But its only paper thin....and it hides a rotten and evil core....
Trying to seduce you. Trying to buy your love with treats, things, and other superficial things.
Which makes the viewer ask the question ask, "What does it mean to love someone?"
The movie obvious shows that loving someone is not just showering them with gifts, and giving them anything they ask.
People who love you will give you what you need, and not just what you want.
But they will also give you things besides just items.
They will give you their time. They will attend your music recitals. Or a play.
They will cheer you on at the track meet.
They will support you in the things you love.
It will be a deeper love. Much more personal and meaningful.

I mixed the Movie and the Book in this image. Do not trust the real Eyes xP
In teh Movie the other mother fakes real eyes to lure in coraline O_O
And you can see that little crack in the face, I would say this Nillos may not be the real one. But maybe he is still your friend and wants to help you escape as soon as things go south!
We never know. Seducing is a thing the other and the real me have in common anyways xP And maybe also loving the same way. And I love how in the book it is worded like: Coraline knew the other mother loves her, but more like a dragon loving his gold.
But we want the much deeper love, don't we? :3
