Rose, Spud, and Trixie look really cool as dragons; I'm surprised there wasn't an episode where that happened.

Yeah, that's a shame. So I decided to create an AU based on this idea.

This American Dragon: Jake Long AU is what I like to call Secret Magic World. In this AU, Jake Long, his family, and his friends are all natural-born dragons that live in a secret parallel magical world where magical creatures live in a modern magic-driven society. Jake and his friends live the magically ordinary lives as young dragons, while Jake’s parents work as a merchant and an innkeeper. However, their average lives changed when they stumble upon a magic portal that takes them to the human world, which everyone in their world believed that humans were a myth. Upon doing so caught the attention of the shadowy villainous Huntsman and his evil Huntsclan. With the teachings of Jake’s grandfather, Luong Lao-Shi, Jake and his friends must protect their magical home world and its people from any invading forces that will threaten their existence. As a team, Jake plays the leader, Spud is the brains of both magic and technology, Trixie is the strategy expert, and Rose is the jack of all trades and martial arts expert. During their adventures, Jake’s sister, Haley, would tag along at times.

Wow! This is interesting! If only there was a standalone episode dedicated to this idea, cause they all look great as dragons! I'm glad that their dragon forms are based on the season 1 designs. [sorry to those who prefer season 2]
