Seraphis after having finished a conversation with a mysterious noble woman took some time to herself, wreathed in the moonlight whilst standing on the balcony of Castle Ustragore's ballroom.

Foreign nobility speak thinly vieled insults amongst themselves at Seraphis's expense, thinking she cannot overhear them. Miss Mitsuna's ears are keen and can hear every arrogance and judgment laced remark they make.

Normally this wouldn't phase the lone monster slayer, but with memories of centuries past on her mind both pleasant and painful, it only compounded the pain and loneliness she felt. A ache underlying all her days that comes with being the only survivor of a long historied clan.

No matter... she'll likely get a chance to cut down a particularly arrogant noblemans hand off when they get too handsy. That would make up for it.

For now, it was just Ustragore's queen under pale blue moonlight, with weathered chains adorned with the prizes of hunts past to keep her company.
