Chanticleer Bluth may be the only rooster on Cartoonia, the hero of the War Against Disney, and a Jedi in training, but above all that, he's the sole surviving biological son of Don Bluth. Chanticleer does everything he can to make sure his friends and family are happy, most of all Don, who at times is still wracked with guilt over placing his family in danger by resisting against Disney hegemony in animation.

Chanticleer couldn't be happier to have Don as a father, who made sure to place him in a good surrogate home on Cartoonia, raise him in spirit by playing with him and learning everything that he could about him, and continue to support him during the fight against the Disney Corporation.

Don, meanwhile, couldn't be more proud of Chanticleer, who grew up into such a kind, compassionate, brave, and selfless young man, the same young man who destroyed the Disney Corporation's most powerful death machine and fought Disney until its defeat, all the while starting a family of his own.

Here on Father's Day 2011 (1956 Cartoonia Time), the two hug as they celebrate their father/son relationship with each other, and their liberation of Cartoonia from oppression.
