Not their fault they're carnivores or that they have to kill others to survive. It doesn't really seem present in this comic but wolves are critical for population control. The Hollow has food for now but unless they can start farming they're going to have to do rationing and worse to get by with their numbers. They aren't killing for fun, even Rask said it himself that he did what he had to to live and Oren shamed him for it, called him a murderer that he was basically fine with as long as he could be used. At the end of the day being slow doesn't fill your belly with a looming crisis on the horizon.
