The second incredible birthday present picture from my friend, Yuppi, made by the artist, Aji, of my Ember still dealing with an all too familiar jungle peril. ~^
Another lovely view here as Ember struggles to pull herself free from the muck. A lot more of Ember visible here, and she looks good, the detailing in her leaves continues to impress me, and her expression is definitely one of annoyance and frustration, which is very fitting, and I love the little bits of her dragon buckle sticking up from the mud. You get a great sense of her struggling, from her stuck hands to her raised shoulder and gritted teeth. The mud really does look thick and gooey, and seems to have a good grip on her, accented by the little patches reaching up on her, complimenting her struggling to really paint a good picture of struggling and straining. A great continuation to this series, stay tuned and see what happens next. ~^
