Cymar (pronounced sigh-mar) was once a normal, happy Deinosuchus living off the lands. He did what he had to do to survive, but one day would change him forever. He found a horse near his territory once. He found it odd as he had never seen a horse near his lands as they were not native to where he resided. So he killed and ate it. Little did he know that this horse had an owner, and an angry one.
After he did that, the owner, who turned out to be a sorcerer, tracked him down and confronted him. Unlike others who confronted him, he was hesitant to approach or attack this individual, which had never happened prior.
But the sorcerer began ushering something before pointing at him, and a bolt of lightning struck him, but it was extended. It wasn't a quick strike, it continued on, but wasn't electrocuting him, but he felt so strange and felt like he was burning. But then they stopped it after a good ten seconds, leaving him panting, and then spoke again.
They said they had cursed him with "eternal struggling", before they left and were never to be seen again. He had no idea what they did to him, as he still looked and felt completely normal....until the next day when he tried to let a big fart rip. He grunted, and pushed, but it was way harder to fart than he remembered. His big belly gurgled as he needed to rip, and after more trying, he finally started to let rip.
He realized that was surely what they meant by the struggling. He came to call this curse "CC", or consistent constipation. As a result, he will often always struggle rather hard when he needs to fart, or even to burp. For over 15-20 years he dealt with it, and by then, he was was very much used to it as part of his life.
But even before that curse was put upon him, he had one more unusual thing about him. It is so bizarre that even he can't simply explain it, but he's also grown very used to it.
That being that he can randomly have a form of an "out of body" experience. He doesn't know how, or why they occur. But when they do, it can be noted that his eyes will lose their color and go gray, he won't speak or make any sounds whatsoever, his expression will never change from straight-faced/stoic, and his gut will shrink to relatively normal size. When this occurs, he sees himself floating above it all, but he's able to move about. The duration of these experiences can last from a few seconds to up to 20-40 minutes.
When the experience ends, his consciousness will rapidly move and bring him back into his own body, to which he will blink, and in that split second before, his color-lacking eyes will regain their color and his gut will swell back to normal, chubby size. Oftentimes, he will pant a bit and/or shake himself off as the feeling of being winded from the sudden transition back to his body catches up.
The first couple dozen times it happened, he simply moved about and observed other things occurring in nearby areas as he didn't know how long he'd be stuck in limbo for. But on one occasion, he focused on an alligator in the process of being hunted by another creature. He kept watching and saw danger coming at it and he wished he could've done something to save it. He closed his eyes and wished he could be in the Gator's position and save them.
When he opened his eyes.....he felt he had a body, but it wasn't his own. It was the alligator he was just watching. He looked around, no longer seeing things in limbo. He was seeing from the alligator's perspective and, upon looking, controlling it's body like he'd possessed it. Upon realizing this, he quickly remembered the danger this "host" was in so he handled it and saved it, but then he had far more questions.
He didn't understand how he'd possessed the creature, but his experience soon came to an end, and he felt he was suddenly pulled from the gator's body and rapidly flew back to his own before he gasped and felt his familiar body and gut again. He pondered for days about why and how he did that. He eventually decided to try and see if he could do it again next time.
A few more days passed, and he had another experience.
This time he intentionally found another creature, a bird this time, and did the same. He focused on it and wished he could be in its shoes and closed his eyes. When he opened them, like the gator, he found himself in control of its body and even its thoughts. He flew as the bird and began to understand how he possessed the alligator prior. He then soon was returned to his body and thought to try something more upon learning of a human campsite nearby. When another experience came, he floated to one of them. But upon wishing he could be in one human's shoes....nothing happened. He remained in limbo. He was baffled, and tried several more times, but to no avail. He wasn't sure why he couldn't possess them, but he noticed a nearby bear, and thought to try that. That time, it worked, and he began to realize the limit of what he could possess. He couldn't possess a sapient being, it had to be a non-sapient, or wild, creature. As time went on, he gained more experience with this....unusual ability, but he also discovered another limit of it.
While possessing a ground squirrel one day, a fox ambushed it and seemed to kill him. He was "ejected" from the body and reentered his familiar limbo. He saw the fox eating the now-dead squirrel, and determined that if what he's controlling dies, he could no longer do anything with it.
One day, however, when he was possessing a white-tail deer, he was suddenly yanked out and brought back to his body way faster than he had been used to. Upon looking around, he realized something had caused a bit of a cut that caused a bit of blood to be drawn, as he noted some drops of it next to one of his back legs, but saw no wounds. He wondered what had happened and tested this. The next day when it happened, he possessed a nearby gator and brought it to his body, which was more like an empty shell than anything else. It looked at him and did not react one bit, and simply walked around ambiently, seemingly without any real care in the world.
He then looked at, and bit, his own body's tail to draw blood. The second his body started to bleed, he was once more yanked out and returned to himself immediately like before. He found that to be a good thing as he'd witnessed his own body lack any and all emotion, as well as the lack of any manner of trying to properly defend itself. He also noticed that where he had bitten himself had no trace of the bite marks whatsoever. He quickly determined that any "injury" he received while out of body was undone whenever he re-entered it.
He has little friends, as those before always were terrified and abandoned him whenever he had one of his experiences, which hurt him as the experience did not hurt anyone or put anyone at risk.
The one true friend he has made is Izella. She found his body once when he was in the midst of an experience. She found his lack of eye color, or reaction, unusual so she decided to follow his body around. Minutes later, he was pulled back to it and looked at her. At first he was nervous, but quickly opened up to her and they bonded fast.
So this fellow is a very unique specimen, obviously for what you all just read. Hope ya like it because I feel he's definitely up there for my top "most unique" backstories xD.
