Yes! He sucks at it. But today james bond movies just cross the line way to far.

The new remake of GoldenEye for the Wii sucks. The single player story line isn't like the film or the N64 game. However, at least they lived up to the multiplayer maybe even improved it.

Pierce Brosnan was too bland and Daniel Craig was too rough. Bond isn't meant to be so much a perfect superman and rather a real person; mind you I did like Roger Moore because at least he was fun ^^.

And as I recall, Timothy Dalton's portrayal of Bond is the closest to the way he was written in the Ian Flemming novels. He was even known to have copies of the novels on set!

I can't comment on Daniel Craig, since I haven't seen any of his films yet. But I think that Sean Connery, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton and Pierce Brosnan each brought something unique to the role of Bond, and I'd quite happily watch any of their films if I get a chance. (My favourite Bond movie? Easy - Moonraker.)

You'll notice I've left one name off that list. I wonder why...?

My fave Bond films are probably Timothy's, along with 'Live And Let Die', 'The Spy Who Loved Me', 'Goldeneye' and 'Goldfinger'.

I suppose you can argue George Lazenby was trying too much to be like Connery, and failing. Having said that, he was very convincing in the brawling scenes. If there was a battle royale between the six Bonds, I think Lazenby would easily be one of the last two standing, along with Craig.

Now that Daniel Radcliffe has put to bed his final movie appearance as Harry Potter, does anyone here see him playing James Bond several years down the line?
