I made an additional dark version just because I like the "magic" effect <:D
I can say that this experience was super interesting and productive. It was interesting to study photos of animals and think about how their anatomy could look on a dragon, what different scale shapes are needed for, how the muscles could be located, how it all would work together. This is probably "the key reason" why all my works take a mega long time <:3

For me every character - a living creature 👉👈
And when drawing each character, for every detail I ask myself: "How it will work in real life?". Perhaps this question is the reason why I can't make fantastic designs that violate the laws of anatomy (but I sincerely love such designs and artists, who can create such!)

Oh my, what a fantastic reference! i really love the beautiful and realistic scale details, specially how well the osteoderms are draw! You really gave Tylos a very realistic touch and personality here, just became one of my favorite references around! Beautiful work as always!
