I would think sea-salt and sweat would taste better than soap, especially if you don't plan on chewing for additional flavor. :)
Though I would be worried about the grittiness, and especially the thick fur sticking in the throat- though I guess this particular Viking is probably skinny enough to get by just fine. :)

Oh, I'm sure this one is much tastier. Plus he has far more presence in the tummy, even if he can't exactly be nutritious. :)
And nope! Actually all the characters have last names and stuff (exposed in the artbook, video game, and other media), but they all go by first-name in the movie. So it's still technically correct, but people who have only seen the movie and not collected merch probably wouldn't catch it. XD
