Yeah, obviously I'm skipping around (and I'm not posting all of the panels as some are mostly text and not too interesting).
Number 10 was draw whateverthehell you want.
So I did.
...Hiccup's a vegetarian.
SHUT UP.
This will probably remain flat colors/rough lineart for the meme, but I might snaz it up later.

I haven't lately. I mostly do it if I feel like I need company or like I have a project worth watching. I'm generally pretty antisocial, though. XD So it's pretty irregular. My next few projects are going to be super boring, so unless I get too bored, I probably won't have another for a while.
:) thanks!
I think she really would be. In this silly modern incarnation I've been brewing, while there is a motorcycle to represent Hiccup's hidden project, it is really Astrid who is the spiritual substitute to the Night Fury.
I'd love to play more with that sometime. XD I have so many ideas.

Because Hiccup wants to ride her. Right? XD
That's interesting. In the movie at least, the two were in competition until Astrid wised up and kind of cooled down. The books are probably entirely different though. Are you talking about the spiritual substitute for the book's Night Fury or for Dreamworks'?
You should explore ideas sometime! If you remember, one of my suggestions that you ignored was for Modern HTTYD. >.>

Hahaha, sure.
Yeah, in my modern version, it's kind of a mix. Like, Astrid competed with Hiccup in extracurricular activities throughout their childhoods (Hiccup being pretty much oblivious the whole time a la the movie's competition montage). When high school started up, and it turned out Hiccup had gone overseas to a boarding school (among other things in her life, of course), she lost a lot of focus and ambition, gave up a few things she was exceptionally good at, and ended up a "downed dragon," a creature of dignity and potential now stuck working a crappy service job instead of pursuing the music career she'd aspired to as a child (she plays violin; in this version, it's almost like the violin is her axe, and her waitress tray is her shield).
Kinda out there. XD
This modern version is almost entirely informed by the movie only. The books don't even have a dragon called a Night Fury in them; Toothless was a dragon called a Common or Garden, which was redesigned for the movie as the Terrible Terror. Though it's actually a running theme in the novels that Hiccup will befriend wounded dragons, one being his riding dragon, the Windwalker.
I'd love to. I obviously have tons of ideas- lately I've been wondering if I shouldn't just sever its ties with HTTYD and just make it something actually original altogether. Maybe just an oddball love-letter to HTTYD or something. It'd give me some freedoms with the construction for sure. XD But for now I'll just play around and make some cute images with it.

That is deep. And realistic. I feel like it's somewhat common for people to lose their drive to succeed after experiencing misfortune.
Huh, that is kind of out in left field. Everyone loves a fixer-upper though. >.>
Well I'm fine with whatever you want to do. But if you want my not-well-thought-out opinion, I think the fact that your Modern universe is attached to the HTTYD universe is somehow meaningful. Taking the characters too far out of their element would be queer. But you are already pushing the limits in that regard. I guess what I'm saying is, you should take creative liberties with the characters without overdoing it.

being a vegetarian is tough.

Hahaha! That's hilarious. XD
You're really a vegetarian? I've got a few friends who are. I can definitely survive without having meat for every meal, but I've never really considered going all out vegetarian.
Yeah, it's got that suave style. I've kind of been doing my modern stuff like this. XD I'd like to experiment more; I rarely do this sort of thing.
Yup, I've been here a while now. :)
