There is endless beauty in life. Every living thing upon the face of the earth possesses a soul, a tiny flickering light, like one of the innumerable stars above. Just as some stars shine more brightly in the night sky, guiding weary travelers home, some souls burn more brilliantly; beautiful, incandescent beacons in the dark. However, even the brightest flame will one day be extinguished. But their light is never truly gone. Their light lives on in all that remains, returned to the well of souls to recoalesce as a beautiful new life. Death is not to be mourned, but honored. Death is not the end, but a new beginning; the mark of a new cycle. There is beauty in life, but their is also beauty in death; for only from death can new life emerge.

I really love everything about this masterpiece brought to life by Noxeri, from the atmosphere which turned out so perfectly to all the little details in the background. Lighting and shading effects, especially the shadows of the naked trees and those over the snow are my absolute favorites. Also, I agree with what is written in this excerpt, it's true that there is beauty in life, but there is also beauty in death. For every living being that bids farewell to this world through death, there will soon be a new one to take its place and new life will emerge.
The slight redesign for Orlendr looks amazing, I like it so much! 😙👍

The stark contrast between the darker elements of the scene and the snow I think captures the theme of the piece so well; and I love how that contrast is carried over to the framing of the characters as well, with Fiadh's playful curiosity balanced out by the grimness of the skeleton opposite frame.
The cycle of life and death is a major theme in my lore, sometimes literally but often figuratively. All of my core lore characters have experienced a rebirth in some sense. Finn left behind his life he was familiar and comfortable with to start a new life with strangers only for that change to be the catalyst he needed to really come into his own. Orlendr made the impossible choice to accept a life of exile, outcast from his clan as little more than a child, becoming a powerful conduit for magic in the process. Fiadh experienced an unspeakable tragedy that nearly broke her as she saw everything and everyone she knew destroyed or lost, in her grief and guilt she cut herself off from much of her power and memory so that she might start anew. And Eabha did quite literally die in battle and was brought back by one of the deities of her people, becoming a symbol of hope for her people in the process.

This was one of the most appreciated, meaningful, interesting, rich of/in your characters lore, inspiring and precious reply to my comments i've received from you, dearest Finn. I agree with you about the stark contrast between the darker elements of the scene and the snow here, Fiadh obviously is my favorite character depicted in this beautiful scene, exactly for her playful curiosity balanced out by the grimness of the skeleton opposite frame. 🥰💖
A valuable, incredible summary that clarifies how all of your core lore characters have experienced a rebirth in some sense. Thanks a lot for your kind message and accurate explanation.
