Hi there, I’m Chicharu!
Some of you might remember me as Shin, and today I want to talk a little about that.
Over the past year or two, I’ve been torn between missing my past and missing someone who was a big part of it. Let’s call him Leo — a white fox with black hair. Thanks to him, I became interested in the furry community and started drawing furries. Our joint artworks were my little escape from reality; I loved drawing our characters, coming up with stories and projects together. I was truly happy back then, even though there were some problems too.
It’s been over a year since Leo and I went our separate ways, and I still haven’t found people with whom I feel the same joy and comfort — people to chat with about anime, share art ideas, and hang out on Discord. But I hope someday I’ll meet someone like that again.
Right now, I want to return to the art style I had back in 2022, but I’m scared of getting hate from the artist whose style inspired me back then.
To be honest, I’m not happy with most of my recent works. I’ve changed my style, tried drawing more anime, but I still can’t feel the same excitement and happiness I had in 2022. That’s why, if you notice artworks on my profile that look similar to my older style (like the one above), don’t be surprised. I just want to feel happy creating again.
