It's an AU of my AU so Slippy is still on the bad guy's side! Though this version of him just doesn't seem to have had anywhere near the life of the original.
The Numbers are basically the equivalent of Artificial/Cyber Newtypes, "Resonant" being the equivalent term I'm going with for this, which would I guess make them "Echoes".
They're all named after their number and a cursed treasure, "Ewalu" being the Hawaiian word for "Eight." A little more esoteric but his last name comes from the Orbs of Dragonkind from MTG/D&D, referring to his ability to control machines with his mind.
