I've done a lot of stories from the perspective of a starship, but I wanted to try taking it a step further. So here's the perspective of one of Aonia's security bots. A WC unit, a small machine that could be considered the white blood cell of a star-ship's "immune system." They aren't considered intelligent like a starship AGI but they are still capable on their predefined logic paths.

Such are the harsh safety precautions that must be taken with bots. Not responding to interrogation from a TNK(Designed to detect and fight things like computer viruses) is a potential sign of being infected, and failing to act on a self-terminate command is an even worse sign. Best to shoot it dead and recycle it into a fresh bot before it propagates.
