Yet another Sherman, and yet another 76mm-armed version as well.

Kind of running out of things to say with this model of tank, and I feel like I'd be repeating information I've already given way back in my earlier posts involving Sherman tanks (especially those armed with the 76). That said, this is pretty much the penultimate Sherman model (excluding the M50 and M51 Super Shermans from Israel), having seen not only combat during the late stages of WWII, but served as one of the main tanks of the US forces during the early stages of Korea, at least up until enough Patton tanks were sent over to the area.

I don't know where else the Easy Eight specifically was sent to or fought in; post-war Shermans outside of the US pretty much ranged everywhere from standard M4s to the M4A3(76) (NOT the E8; there are two other versions of 76 mm-armed M4A3). And on top of that, a lot of countries who had Shermans sometimes opted to up-gun them, so beyond those two above-mentioned conflicts, I have absolutely no idea where else the Easy Eights fought.

...Still my favorite tank though.
