what are all the ribbons on the ribbon bar? its hard to make them out
and I'm not sure, but I dont think you could wear the German-Italian medal in the flap of the right pocket like that. I know you could do that with the blood order, but I dont think you could for any other medal.

hmmm ill need to look again but i specifically looked for medals that would be awarded by the time this soldier would be fighting
and i did my resarch when drawing it so i think (not fully sure) that somewhere i must have seen a photo of some soldier wearing the medal in that way
believe me when it comes to the warmacht i work hard to make my work correct

I'm not denying that you did the reaserch I am not denying that this combination of medals would be right for this soldier. I am just saying, since you asked wehrmachtfurs if it was correct, that I dont think that the Italian/German campaign medal could be worn on the pocket. now if you can find the pictures that would be wonderful.
but it always seems as a general rule that political medals went on the right and war medals went on the left. now I could be wrong, once again, if you can find pictures, that would be lovely.

cause you didn't wear medals really into battle, at least the ribbons and things other then the button hole ones or if you did itd be the ones you really didn't mind loosing or getting mucked up, that and Ive found foot soldiers tend to wear medal medals less then any other group
im sifting through studio shots since those solders tended to deck out themselves for

okay, getting back to you, I've asked some of my buddies about it and the italian-german medal being worn like that is a mucho no go and they mention they've never seen it worn on that side like that in any of their photos. They say it is possible to wear it like that but on the left side only, never on the right side :]
hope this helps you
