Snootie being quite active online, where he's much more able to communicate his thoughts clearly, tends to go around making comments on things that get his attention: noses, things that smell nice, and... holes.
Given Bree's artistic abilities, snootie remarked in an art submission of Bree's about how adept their style would go with drawing some really nice looking nostrils. And so, simple as that, they began to talk!
They end up hanging out occassionally, and snootie loves being around all the mix of foods and different scents that come with someone with such an affinity with cooking a really good meal!
Sometimes takeout does the job just as well, and Bree often knows snootie's favorite stuff to smell and sniff at, loving to discuss and describe the different tastes with him as he eats. Kind of like helping snoot to vicariously eat via Bree's own descriptions.

was pretty challenging for me to sketch this, i've never tried drawing larger characters before, this really got my snootie brain thinking about the physics of how fat distributes and hangs from muscles!
it's also worth noting that snootie does not eat, though he can still feel hunger and crave food. He just can't ingest any of it. One of the more frustrating aspects of being him, though he still quite enjoys the scent of a good meal!
