Who Will Bell The Cat? (2025 Tickletober Story #11)
Day 11 prompt is "Cat" - more "Halloweeny" than "Tickly" one, which actually forced me to think a bit more about what I want to do here.
My inspiration for both the story and its title came from the idiom "to bell the cat", meaning "To perform a difficult and dangerous task for benefit of the community"; the saying came from a fable about a group of mice who, faced with the threat of a cat hunting them down one by one, decide to attach a bell to his neck so that he can no longer sneak up on them - only to realise that, although all of them agree upon this solution, none actually wants to be the one responsible for performing the deed...
...Well, those Tandemaus luckily found their volunteer - and with that, they'll soon teach the mischievous Sprigatito a harsh lesson about bullying those weaker than her :D

Taking inspiration from old stories and turning it ticklish is always fun to make! Honestly, I wonder what the Mausholds would have done if Braixen didn't come in to save her. Would they have taken Sprigatito elsewhere to punish her further, or would they have released her? Either way, hope she doesn't get caught up in the Maushold's trap again... Well, that would be the nice thing to say, but I feel she deserves some more tickling!
