Above The Spider's Web (2025 Tickletober Story #13)
Day 13 of Tickletober, with the prompt "Don't laugh".
This time it's a fairly short, but no less intense story that prominently features spiders.
Now... I'm arachnophobic. Severely. I don't hate spiders, but... they are scary. That's all. Too many legs, and what they do to their prey is... ehh... and those disgusting webs...
...And so I commited this. Because that's what reasonable and healthy people do. Enjoy!

This was clever! Honestly, most "Don't Laugh" prompts usually are something along a challenge or maybe thieves or spies trying not to give up their cover. This Kecleon was also under a cover of sorts, but with several lives on the line as opposed to only getting captured. While short and cut off, it really does leave it open-ended. Hope that Kecleon can hold!
