A valid question *nodnods* I can't speak for everyone, but at least in my world of Minnaluna; no, they don't, there's still a distinct enough difference between "human-sized" anthro folk and "regular-sized" feral pets like cats and dogs that they require separate medical practitioners.
*chuckles* I will have to put serious thought into what species of anthro a vet could best be though, and if certain anthro species would face strange problems when treating certain species of feral pets >~_^<

Something along those lines, yes. But I'm also thinking of unusual problems, such as; would owners of a feral dog that is known to chase feral cats need to look for a specifically non-feline anthro vet? I think one of the best options would be something like what Ryuukei mentioned below here; have anthro feline vets for feral pet cats and anthro canine vets for feral pet dogs, and for the rest, a vet could be any species when their patients are feral pet rabbits or rodents and the farm animals that are in my world.
i think it really depends on the world in question and how closely related the various anthro species are to their feral counterparts, or how many biologicla quirks the anthro's inherited from humans. it also depends on how many species of anthro their are. in a world where there are many different species, its probably quite likely that the medical fields would be divided up by species lines, just in order to avoid training overload, and so a particular professional doesn't need to learn all the various intricacies of every species they come across.
Say you have a world where anthro felines are basically felines that walk upright, have opposable thumbs and have human like or better intelligence, well, then it would make sense to have medical professionals that specialize in all felines, both anthro and feral, and thus there wouldn't really be a vet profession line, just different medical specialize lines, some specialize with felids, others canines, others reptilian, avian ect. ect. and in a world where the anthro's can have wild size differences, like my own infinite cosmos setting, it be fairly helpful if the medical professional was also somewhat close to the size of the patient.
It would be rather difficult say for example, one of my squirrel type anthro's whom is literally around the size of an average squirrel, to be able to treat a wooly mammoth type anthro and vice versa, just because of the sheer scale differences, at least when you are dealing with modern medical technology. But my setting is also a far future Sci fi with high technology robots, faster than light spacecraft, and some pretty magical seeming technology, so that helps solve a lot of those issues. But there you dont just have to deal with human, anthro and animal biology, but also crazy alien biology too, which can make the differences between Human, Animal and Anthro biology seem somewhat trivial by comparison, because at lest we all function on the same general basic biological principles.

Eh, infinite cosmos only really shares a few common themes with star trek and star wars, but I wouldn't describe it as furry star trek or star wars. For one, I trend far more towards scientific realism than Star Trek or Star wars, and as far as stories I intend to have a far wider variety. For all of the extensive amount of content with star trek, its scope of stories is quite narrow, as its generally a space adventure focused around a professional military crew running a military starship (or space station in the case of DS9.) its only in recent years with prodigy and Picard that Star trek has slightly widened that focus. and Star wars 90% of the stories are good vs evil battles between magic wielding space wizards.
I intend to have more variety with my stories and casts. Not all of them are going to be professional military running a space warship. some stories are going to be slice of life, others comedy, others adventure types, ect. ect. Not every story is going to be some grand gotta save this planet/nation/galaxy from the latest threat type of plot, in fact most of my stories are focused more on the down to earth life of individuals just living in this incredibly vast setting where often they are just one of quintillions.
But at the least yes doctors within infinite cosmos would have to deal with a lot of similar problems as ones in star trek or Star wars.
