Octummber Day 20: Struggle
Despite drawing online for more than 12 years, none of my big projects-- from comics to RPG Maker games and everything in between--have ever been fully finished. I did finish Insight, at least, but I have so many other comics that are either cancelled or on indefinite hiatus.
I'm also disappointed that I have still not finished my visual novel. But at least I have a demo finished, which is more than I can say about some of my previous projects. I may feel like I'm struggling, but I will not give up. As this art challenge wraps up, I will continue to tackle the visual novel to the best of my ability.
Thanks for following along with this art challenge so far. Sorry for the more serious post, but don't worry-- we're get back to fat and round creatures tomorrow.
Who knows. Maybe this coming year will be the year where I finally realize my dream. If I have to struggle all year for it, then I absolutely will.

You already came a very long way from the looks of it and personally I think it's truly impressive what you have accomplished so far! So many comics, so many pieces of art!
May you just need more time to figure out what you want to do / create, but I'm sure you have what it takes!

Sometimes the struggle is real, and you aren't alone in this path. I know for a fact that I have a lot of projects that also need to see the light of day too, some quite larger than we expect. But I do hope you are able to finish one of them when the time comes! And hopefully the other projects there after ^^
It's also my birthday today too...but you have the right idea of not giving up, it is easy to feel stuck, depressed, or overwhelmed by life... the things you say are very relatable for anyone who has goals or wants to create more passionate projects, though be glad for how far you've come, your art has had a very good impact on the community (your style is very cute and comforting), and whatever things you have not had the time or energy to do...well just take it one step at a time until that journey becomes a reality, don't knock yourself for what you haven't been able to do or what you cannot control in life, best of luck to you!
Happy birthday and I'm glad you're still powering through! Take your own projects at your own pace. Finding your voice through prototypes is the hardest part and you're doing great, and each time you learn and get closer to something you're passionate about. It's all a part of the process
