That special time of the year again, and the autumn weather is slowly giving way to winter chills. Among the trees shedding leaves under cloudy skies and howling winds cutting through clothing, there is a day most seem to know about. A day of amusement, of turning little fears into delights. It's the kind of day Evalia relishes, and even celebrates, in her own way.
I wanted to write a Halloween-themed story this year, trying to keep to the habit. This time Evalia is a bit more prepared for trick-or-treaters, and flexing her sorcery to entertain. All in good fun, not to overdo it. After all, there is always next year to plan for.
