Calling all Pooh fans! Calling all Pooh fans!
Another image has been created. For Round 4, I thought I shall focus on the only female doll in Christopher Robin’s nursery. By any other name, Kanga.
In Chapter 7, Pooh and his friends were not familiar with kangaroos and joeys. Because Kanga and Roo appeared to be very strange to them, Rabbit thought of showing dominance or showing who’s boss to these newcomers. By doing so, they thought of switching Roo and Piglet, because they’re both small. This was to give Rabbit a chance to know more about the two.
Of course, Kanga was distracted when Pooh thought there’s a fish up in the tree, giving the boys a chance to swap Roo with Piglet. When that was done, it was only after returning home, she found that Piglet was inside her pouch instead. Piglet, having no idea what to do from there, did that plan, leading to yell, “AHA!”
Now, Kanga was surprised at first, but after seeing that this was just some game Winnie and Rabbit did, she decided to play along. That did give her a pleasant idea indeed. She pretends that Piglet was her son, Roo, and gave him a nice bath. This was something Piglet didn’t expect to happen, but I love the fact that Kanga is such a good sport.
Even though this is all I’ve drawn, I’m happy to point out that eventually, Pooh came by and let Piglet out. At the same time, Rabbit came back with Roo, after having a wonderful time together.
I swear Kanga has a wonderful sense of humor.
