Sesame pasta with tofu.
2 garlic cloves, minced
4 teaspoons grated ginger
Green onions
2 tablespoons unsalted peanut butter*
2 tablespoons tahini
2 teaspoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons rice vinegar
2 tablespoons sesame seeds
4 tablespoons hot water
8 ounces linguini
1. Blend all ingredients except for linguini in a food processor. Transfer sauce to a mixing bowl.
2. Cook linguini according to package instructions; drain, rinse with cold water, and toss with sauce, then serve.
* From Chris: For those that are nut allergic, use more tahini or add toasted sesame seeds.
Now as for the tofu - I have to think that Oceandepths must have used this either as "croutons" or "cheese" accents. If its croutons, slice into small cubes and either fry to GBD or use your air fryer for the same results, more than likely will only take 3-5 minutes.
As a cheese accent, do the same BUT coat the cubes ahead of time with either a thin coating of nutritional yeast or parmesan cheese.
(maybe also add a teaspoon of garlic salt as well, just to give it a bit more oomph.)
