"The next Major Arcana in the tarot deck is The Hierophant, a card that represents traditions, mentorship, and institution. For this arcana in particular I decided to show off an alternate universe you've never seen before in a sort of proof of concept- Wildcat Round 2.

Wildcat Round 2 is a sort of Batman Beyond type story, where this version of Kat steals an old superhero costume that happens to belong to a much older and retired Ted Grant, also known as Wildcat, a hero that's been with DC Comics nearly as long as Wonder Woman has. In case it wasn't obvious, this year I really got into Wildcat and went through a decent amount of his comic history, and something I've noticed is that Wildcat is so easily overlooked when it comes to big DC projects, to the point where he's never gotten his own solo run.

Though back to the tarot card, Ted Grant sees potential in Kat, and decides to take him under his wing to become- Wildkat, since Ted has trained many promising heroes over the years, and Kat wouldn't even be the first to take on the mantle of Wildcat after Ted. The thing about Wildcat is that he can never stay in retirement, he's always ready to teach the next generation of heroes how to fight, so I could totally see him being like old man Bruce Wayne in a Batman Beyond type story."

"And we come to the first AU that surprisingly doesn't feature a version of Ben at all. But considering last year introduced an AU with no version of that Ben's best friend, safe to say it's even now. Also, a fun fact. Kat originally decided on a different name for this AU's version of his superhero identity. But when I brought up Wildkat, he found it perfect enough to use instead. Plus also goes to show that even if you don't know stuff well enough like others, doesn't mean you can't provide a fresh perspective on them."
