Rotu grinned as he slipped through the snow towards his prey. Hos visor glowed brightly in the chill night time air so he dimmed it with a thought, trying to keep the element of surprise. He quietly shuffled his black-toed paws through the snow to muffle the sound, white, fluffy softness sticking to his gray fur.
The protogen slipped behind a tree and slowly peeked around the edge of it. There was his prey. A tall, slim, white bunny-fox hybrid wearing a purple bandanna and puffy winter coat that hung almost to his knees. He seemed to be preoccupied with building a sculpture out of the snow, giving a little shiver as a flake landed on the back of his neck, melting into his fur. A pixel-based grin flickered on Rotu's screen as he slowly crept closer.
Suddenly, the big protogen let out a roar, pouncing on the slender box from behind, wrapping his arms and legs around him and dragging him down into the snow.
"GOTCHA, Springy!!"
Springy squeaked wriggled around in the snow, trying to get turned around as the cold fluffy stuff covered his muzzle, freezing his little black nose. "Hey!"
Rotu grinned and let the long, lanky hybrid roll onto his back, hugging him tightly, "Did I surprise ya?"
"Yeah, you did! I wasn't expecting you for a few more nights, is anything wrong?"
He gave a mechanical sounding chuckle, "Nah, just made time to come up early to see my favorite box."
Making a soft murring sound, the handsome hybrid hugged the protogen tightly, his long arms easily able to wrap around his armored body. He patted at the creature's armor plating, knowing that he could feel his gentle touch just fine.
"Could you get off and let me up, though? It's getting cold down here int he snow."
"Make me, cutie.." And with that, he gave Srpingy a gentle boop on the tip of his nose, grinning as he knew what was about to happen.
"H.. hey!!" The box squirmed, closing his eyes. He felt his loose fitting coat slowly pulling tight over his chest and belly. His arms crept out of the sleeves as his paws slid further down int he snow as his legs stretched longer. The now much bigger box gave a playful growl as he grew big enough to truly dwarf the protogen in height and suddenly rolled over on top of the Rotu, pinning him down in the snow!
"OOF!! N.. now hold on a second! I don't have a coat like you! This is freezing!"
Unable to resist, he gave the cute cyborg a playful lick before slowly standing up. The box towered over the proto. The loose fitting purple coat that had hung almost to his knees was barely waist length now and clung to his chest and arms tightly. He actually unzipped the top a little, freeing his chest floof and loosening it a bit. He crouched down, his huge paws crunching in the snow as he offered an orange-fingered hand to the smaller proto.
Wiping off the box's saliva, his visor finally brightened back up in the night time gloom. He gripped the large hand, pulling himself to his feet in front of the big box. "I was hoping for snow, but I wasn't expecting it to be quite this cold. Wanna head back to the cabin for now?"
"Yeah, that sounds like a plan. I already have firewood laid in for the week and some good hot cocoa mix. We can get all toasty and warm."
"Cool, race ya!!" An evil little grin flashing in his screen, the protogen hopped up, booping the foxy-bun a second time before racing off through the snow!
"H.. hey.. mff.." Springy was locked in place for a moment as the feeling of growth rocked his body for a second time. His coat squeezes in against his body even tighter before there was a soft rip. White fluff began to pour from bursting seams all over the coat. Cloth shredded apart as stuffing poured out into the snow. The box stretched taller and taller, his orange toes plowing through the snow as he stretched up taller than some of the tree branches.
When his growth finally stopped, he loosened his bandanna a little, barely fitting around his neck anymore. He crouched down, gathering up the remains of his poor puffy coat and started running after the protogen. His big paws didn't just crunch through the snow as he ran, they boomed in the chill night air. He could see the light of the cabin up ahead and the protogen dashing madly for the front door. Springy was rapidly gaining on him.
He was just a few steps behind when Rotu threw the door open wide. Just as he was about to step inside, he turned suddenly and gave the big box another boop right on his snoot. Springy gasped and froze up again, gripping his ruined coat tight. Rotu grinned as Springy's growing hand engulfed the cloth and fluff even more. His head bumped against the porch ceiling, forcing the huge hybrid into a crouch. Rotu slipped back into the cabin as the floor shook under him, the growing bunny-fox dropping to his knees on the wooden deck with a solid thud.
Catching his breath, Springy grumbled a little as he shifted around a bit, squeezing through the doorway on all fours. His long, slender legs extended out into the snow off of the porch before he dragged them inside.
Rotu barely had time to close the door before Springy grabbed him in his huge hands, snuggling him into his chest floof and curling up on the floor around his little love. Opening his huge maw, he slid out his wet, purple tongue, bathing the proto's visor, causing him to splutter and squirm as his digital face turned a shade of pink.
"That's what you get. Oh, and you owe me a new coat."
"Oh bleh, you loved it and you know it."
Now it was Springy's turn to blush, as he had to admit, the sensation of growth was nice, and being able to manhandle his little love was nice. He held Rotu close to his chest, warming him with his massive hands and letting him feel the beating of his huge heart. He smiled softly as he held him close, this was almost too perfect to be true.
Soon, though, a chill in the air sent a little shiver down Springy's spine. He reached over to grab a handful of logs in one big paw and tossed them into the fireplace before reluctantly releasing his captive.
"Can you get the fire going?"
A bright smile on his visor, Rotu slipped out of his big box's grasp and crouched down to get the wood burning. Springy admired him from behind, blushing and squirming a little before averting his eyes. He reached out beside the proto, grabbing another handful of kindling and reaching out into the kitchen with it.
"I'll load some wood into the stove and you can get the kettle going. I think we're gonna need a LOT of hot cocoa."
