Hmmmm a Mario franchise fan character? I think maybe you mentioned this before, but is it something to do with Yoshi? I think Yoshi is about the only character that I can think up that there is some similarities. Maybe Birdo? Or maybe some connection to characters in Mario RPG????
That crush debatably still exists, it just takes something fairly big to rekindle it, lol. Bowser's Fury and Illumination's Mario movie did so when they hit. But I also just tend to bounce around a lot with character crushes.
By the way, there are 7 Koopalings (the ones that aren't really his kids) and then there's Bowser Jr. who is his kid.
