This is Willoughby Kenton. He's known as Will to his friends and brighter pupils, but since you are not one of them you can call him Dr. Kenton. He has a PhD in musicology and he's the current director of the Santa Fermata conservatory where Bryce works.
He has a sharp ear for promising students and a "healthy aversion" to people who can't seem to get their act together (or figure out how to dress halfway decently). He knows Bryce can barely afford the property taxes on his house and believes the caribou is not quite ready for tenure. Maybe if he starts seeing evidence of more ambition he can be convinced.
Aster is one of his more esteemed colleagues and he has difficulty understanding why they keep wasting their time with that plebeian piano tutor. It's nice to reach out to the less fortunate but some individuals are beyond help, darling.
I mean, look at that guy. Buckweiser? No class at all.

In a way this brings things full circle. In one of the pre-FA treatments of Wombat For Hire, neither Sully nor Victor existed and there was no time travel plot. The main conflict revolved around a teleportation accident instead.
Emmet's nemesis was a house cat whose name cycled through various "W" options (one of them was Winifred). That character was eventually replaced by Victor and ever since there's been an unfilled spot for a nasty little cat with a W-name.
Emmet's "partner" (though not assistant) in that story was the subject of the teleporter accident. I guess the closest character to him is Henry.
Incidentally, that character was not a dinosaur but a sasquatch.
Also incidentally, Sully's original name was Luke but I think I told you that already.
