Ainara Rantala is a congresswoman and human rights activist, a member of the Liberal International, who founded and led the Liberal Party in 1974 for the new reign of Maria I in 1975. An artist, painter, and novelist, she was also an opponent of Anton III and the provisional government of Haruno Vasiliev, whose rule she described as a fiasco for the Zafirine nation. Initially, she wanted to create a Marxist-Leninist party, but after witnessing the horrors of the First Eurasian War (1969-1975), she decided to establish an economically liberal party, following the policies of Adam Smith. Despite her outspokenness in political debate, Rantala was not afraid to work with conservative figures like Dmitri Voltok of the Conservative Party. She was always a friend of Empress Maria I and her royal family.
