Hey everyone! With Christmas Eve just around the corner, I thought it was the perfect time to do something nice for all of you who’ve been there for me through my life dramas. This drawing is my “big apology” for all the times I’ve dumped my problems on you. Your patience is sometimes unbelievable, but I’m so grateful y’all haven’t told me to shut up, even when I probably should’ve! XD
This year has been a bit of a rollercoaster, especially this summer when my dad was diagnosed with cancer completely by chance during a routine checkup. They just happened to catch it. There was a lot of uncertainty, weeks of waiting for results and possible surgeries, plus heavy medication. It really took a toll on my mental health, and I remember being unable to work for over a month. Thankfully, my dad is “fine” now, and we have a 70% chance of him being completely cured. However, we still don’t know for sure and will find out more next year. We’re hoping he recovers soon so it won’t be an issue again later. There has been a bunch more bumps on the road besides the news on my dad, but that was definitely the biggest one by far… While I usually tend to isolate when things get tough, I’m really happy to have you all regularly checking in on me.
I wanted to create something special for each of you individually, but my awesome procrastination-free attitude this year has fizzled out. It’s not just procrastination though; life’s been throwing a lot my way, and I’m taking things slow. So you’ll just have to make do with what you’ve got :)
Finally, I want to thank everyone else too. Every bit of support and kind word is really appreciated. I’m hoping to give you all a small token of my gratitude, maybe a raffle with some stickers for a few winners for New Year’s! I’ll set that up either tomorrow or Friday. I want to give you all a little something back for sticking around with me. ^^
Aaaaaaaaaand I also need time to prep that 1000’s raffle, I’ll get to it when I get to that though, for now MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! XD

You've always been an amazing person, so you gathered many sweethearts around you! I'm glad to see that there are many people who support and help you whenever you need it. We all have bad times that put our friendships to the test. It's good to see that yours remain unbroken! I wish both you and your dad lots of strength and love!

You've been a great friend since day one of knowing you. You've been there for me during some of the lowest points in my life and I'm forever grateful of that. Life will have its ups and downs, but when the ride is at its lowest, the only next direction is up. Next year will be better, and you'll be happier than ever. You've never dumped an ounce of "problems" on any of us, and you never need to apologize for wanting to talk, every time we spent in DMs is cherished, and I'm honored to be among others who love you just as much. Thanks for being a cool dragon, and double thanks for being my friend ^w^

I know how much the situation with your father weighed on you. I can only begin to imagine how tough it must've been to get this news out of nowhere.
