Lore Building is the best part of creating and expanding on worlds, it's not just the characters themselves but the events and happenings that encounter and surround them. Reading that letter I can picture Vitani's fur in a ploom and fluff of shock and surprise, as I somehow suspect she in no way saw this coming. Probably not too far off from the look she made when Kion told her he knew.
